Yio Chu Kang · Roasted on site

A bright room where nobody rushes you.

Seoul-inspired coffee and brunch on the ground floor of an old neighbourhood shopping centre, off Yio Chu Kang Road.

The room

Concrete, oak, and morning light.

The room does most of the talking: bare concrete columns, an oak counter, a brushed-chrome bar, copper pendant lamps and greenery, and windows that stay bright until late afternoon. We took our cues from the cafes we loved in Seoul — calm, spare, more daylight than decor.

We are off Yio Chu Kang Road, a few bus stops from Serangoon MRT. The room has served the neighbourhood since 2020 — regulars may remember it as Urban Table. Brunch runs all day, there is an in-house bakery, and walk-ins are always fine.

Yes, we roast our own

Roasted on site, a few kilos at a time.

We roast in small batches on site, a few kilos at a time. It is not a big operation. It just means the bag you take home was roasted this week, not last quarter.

Ask the barista what is on the grinder today. They will usually make you try it black first.
